Overview
Roman blinds (also called Roman shades) bring together the soft, elegant drape of fabric and the clean, structured function of a blind. They fold into neat horizontal pleats as they lift and hang flat when lowered. Every Roman blind is made to your exact measurements from the Norman® Centerpiece collection, using fabrics once reserved for custom drapery, so you get a made-to-measure window treatment built for your space.

Choose from two fold styles: Flat Fold with a batten back for a clean, modern finish, or Soft Fold for a softer, more traditional look with a teardrop contour that adds volume to the window. Every blind comes with your choice of lining: a translucent lining for gentle, diffused light, or a blackout (blockout) lining for room darkening and reduced glare, with the added benefit of extra insulation.
There is an operating system to suit any room. The cordless system has no exposed cord or chain, making it a child-safe choice for bedrooms and living areas. Continuous-cord and SmartRelease™ systems suit larger, heavier blinds, while motorised options (rechargeable AutoWand™ or Norman® smart motorisation controlled by the ShadeAuto™ app) let you schedule and operate your blinds by remote or phone. Want two functions in one window? The dual shade pairs a Roman blind at the front with a roller blind behind it: choose a sheer fabric for daytime glare control and a blackout fabric for night, giving you day-and-night flexibility in a single fitting. For a designer finish, add edge banding (a 63.5mm contrast border) or ribbon banding, available on Flat Fold styles.

Made to measure for inside or outside mount, with a translucent lining as standard and a blackout lining available as an upgrade. Maximum sizes depend on the system: up to 3000mm wide on continuous cord, and up to 2438mm wide (3.7m² area) on cordless, where a blackout lining reduces the maximum area. Fabrics span muted greys, soft pastels, earthy tones, natural textures and heritage-inspired patterns, with ten colours available online. Price from $388.
