Overview
Light-filtering honeycomb blinds with compact 25mm cells — maximum insulation in a sleek, low-profile design that suits any window size. The 25mm cell is the smallest and most discreet honeycomb option, sitting close to the window glass with a clean, minimal appearance.
Also known as cellular blinds, honeycomb blinds are among the most thermally efficient window treatments available — the trapped air pocket in each cell creates an insulating barrier that reduces heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer.

The 25mm Single Cell comes with a 25mm Headrail – great to fit into windows with little or no reveal depth. Light-filtering fabric. Available lift options:
Cord Type Corded (Standard) Supplied with one set of cords that raise and lower build. Cord cleat use to maintain loose cords when blind raised.
Cord Type Smartrise(Cordless) Blind raised and lowered using pull handle located on bottom rail the of blind.
Design Type Top Down Bottom Up (TDBU) raises blind from bottom, as standard, but allows for blind to be lowered from the top (blocking off bottom of opening and leaving top exposed).

Yes, if you select the top-down/bottom-up option. This lets you lower the blind from the top for light and privacy, or raise it from the bottom as normal — or both at the same time.
They are the same product. “Honeycomb blinds” and “cellular blinds” both describe blinds with cells of fabric that trap air for insulation. The terms are interchangeable — NZ Blinds uses “honeycomb” but you may see them referred to as “cellular blinds” elsewhere.
Honeycomb Blinds, also known as Thermacell, are an attractive cellular blind that are renowned for their insulation properties. They can increase the thermal insulation of your window by up to 3 times that of a normal curtain. Our most popular is the Room Darkening Fabric – this is great for darkening and warming the bedrooms or older single glazed homes.
Other Honeycomb options include corded (the most cost effective option), cordless (SmartRise) perfect for those with young children and top down bottom up SmartRise (the ultimate) are all very popular.
With standard factory clearances there is a 6.0mm gap between the jamb and the fabric on each side so some light bleed does occur at the side of the blind.
