If the slats no longer tilt when you turn the wand or cord, or if the tilt mechanism feels loose, grinding or stuck, the tilter is likely worn out. This is the most common repair needed on venetian blinds.

This tilter fits most wide-slat (50mm and 63mm) venetian blind headrails sold in New Zealand. If you are unsure, take a photo of your existing tilter mechanism and email it to NZ Blinds for confirmation before ordering.

Yes. The tilter clips in and out of the headrail without tools in most cases. Remove the old tilter by unclipping it from the headrail, then clip the new one into the same slot and reattach the tilt wand or cord.
